Teacher

We are looking for a Phonic/ Abacus/ Tutrion Teacher to join our team with a strong background in one or more academic subjects. The tutor/teacher will be responsible to develop lesson plans and teach students according to their educational needs. The position offers an in-hand salary of 6,000-10,000 and career growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct tutoring sessions for students in various subjects.

• Assess, track and report on student progress.

• Provide feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques.

• Teach students study skills, note-taking skills and test-taking strategies.

• Prepare students for standardized tests and examinations.

• Encourage interactive and collaborative learning in sessions.

• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

Phonics-

• Strong understanding of phonics principles, including phonemes, graphemes, and blending. 

• Develop and implement phonics-based lessons and curriculum tailored for diverse learners. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively instruct students and engage with parents. 

• The ability to teach with enthusiasm and clarity to keep students engaged, notes Indeed.

• Teach key skills like letter-sound correspondence, blending sounds to form words, and identifying sounds in words. 

Abacus -

• Designs and delivers abacus and mental math lessons, assessing student progress.

• Create and implement engaging abacus and mental math lesson plans, including adapting them to diverse student needs. 

• Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and conduct tests to evaluate their understanding and skill development. 

• Use innovative teaching tools and technology to enhance lessons and keep students motivated and engaged. 

• Clearly explain complex abacus functions and calculations in an age-appropriate manner to students. 

• Possess a deep understanding of abacus structure, different types, and proficiency in techniques for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. 

Tuition Tutor -

• Identify individual learning needs, academic strengths, and weaknesses. 

• Develop and implement customized lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to each student's goals and learning style. 

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to explain concepts, reinforce learning, and assist with homework and projects. 

• Track student progress, provide regular feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to meet learning objectives. 

• Help students prepare for exams and standardized tests by developing practice exercises and assessments. 

• Teach effective study skills and time management techniques to improve overall academic performance. 

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduation/ B.ED/ M.ED and 3-5 years experience. Applicants should have leadership experience and honed skills in areas like test preparations, special education etc.
