Freelance Trainer Job Profile

Role Overview

Seeking dynamic freelance trainers to deliver 2-hour workshops for both students and in-house trainers at various colleges. Sessions will focus on in-demand business and analytics tools including Advanced Excel, Power BI, Data Analysis, and Tally Prime. Trainers must tailor sessions to learner needs and college requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 2-hour interactive sessions on Advanced Excel, Power BI, Data Analysis, or Tally Prime for diverse groups.

• Adapt teaching methods for both beginner and advanced audiences, including students and fellow trainers.

• Assess learner needs ahead of training; prepare custom delivery plans for each assignment.

• Create, curate, and share practical hands-on exercises and case studies.

• Provide real-world insights and best practices, ensuring concepts are industry-relevant.

• Answer participant questions, clarify doubts, and offer follow-up resources.

• Collect and analyze feedback to improve session effectiveness.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise in at least one of: Advanced Excel, Power BI, Data Analysis, Tally Prime.

• Demonstrable experience in teaching, training, or corporate facilitation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in adapting complex concepts for varied audiences.

• Ability to manage group dynamics and encourage participation in limited timeframes.

• Strong organizational and planning skills; punctuality and professionalism in all engagements.

Desired Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant academic or industry experience with the tool(s) taught.

• Prior experience conducting short-term training or freelance classes is preferred.

• Exposure to various management or analytics domains will be an added advantage.
