Teacher / Facilitator / Instructor – Employability / English / Soft Skills
FEA is an NGO that delivers a free one‑year intensive training program to rural / urban youth (typically 18 years old+), with the goal of equipping them with employability skills. Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons as per FEA curriculum (English / Digital Skills / Soft Skills / Life Skills) to batches of ~20‑25 students.
Conduct multiple sessions per day (often 2‑3) of fixed duration (e.g. 2 to 2.5 hours each) with breaks in between.
Perform administrative work: maintaining student records, reporting, documentation, minor operational tasks.
Engage in student support: tracking progress, mentoring, helping weaker students, motivating them.
Travel to branches / villages as required—many roles are in rural locations, so commuting / relocation might be needed.
Participate in training programs organized by FEA (often at Lucknow campus) before starting, and periodic refresher / evaluation trainings.
Follow FEA’s pedagogical guidelines, policies on attendance, quality, discipline. Maintain punctuality, class discipline, etc.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Language Skills: Good communication in English; ability to understand and teach basic English.
Digital Skills: Basic computer literacy (using email, internet, possibly basic tools).
Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, patient, able to engage with youth; motivational.
Mobility / Flexibility: Willingness to travel / shift branches / work in rural settings; own means of transportation (2‑wheeler / bicycle) or ability to commute.
Commitment: Many roles require a minimum commitment (often 1 year) due to investment in training.
Full‑time position: ~8 hours/day, 6 days/week.
Hours split between morning to evening depending on student timetables.
During initial training period, location may be centralized (Lucknow). Accommodation, meals often provided; travel expenses covered.
After training, work location will often be in local branches/villages. Travel as part of the role.
Monthly salary in the range of ₹14,500 to ~₹16,500 depending on location, experience
Allowances may include petrol / travel allowance; accommodation support if relocating; possibly internet / mobile allowance.
