Job Title: Social Studies Teacher (Primary & Higher Classes)
The Social Studies Teacher is responsible for teaching Social Science subjects to Primary and Higher classes, fostering students’ understanding of history, geography, civics, and social values.
Plan and deliver effective Social Studies lessons as per the prescribed curriculum.
Teach subjects such as History, Geography, Civics, and Environmental/Social Awareness.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
Use interactive teaching methods like maps, charts, activities, discussions, and projects.
Assess and evaluate students’ academic progress regularly.
Maintain student records, attendance, and assessment reports.
Encourage values such as discipline, empathy, civic sense, and national integration.
Participate in school activities, meetings, training sessions, and events.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress when required.
Support students with additional learning needs.
Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies / History / Geography / Political Science or related field.
B.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification (preferred).
1–3 years of teaching experience for Primary and/or Higher classes (freshers may apply).
Strong subject knowledge in Social Studies.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
