Job Description:

Cambridge International School, Payal is seeking a qualified and experienced Social Science (SST) Teacher to join our dedicated academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in Social Science subjects, including History, Geography, Civics, and Economics, as per the school curriculum. You will play a key role in the academic and personal development of students from middle to senior grades.

Qualifications & Requirements:

📚 Educational Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, or Sociology)

• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory

👩‍🏫 Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a reputed school

• Experience in handling middle and senior school preferred

🌐 Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Ability to design and implement effective lesson plans

• Proficiency in conducting student assessments and writing progress reports

• Good command over modern teaching techniques, including activity-based and inquiry-based learning

• Familiarity with smart classroom tools and digital teaching aids

• Classroom management and student engagement skills

• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Google Classroom, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver structured and interactive SST lessons in alignment with school curriculum

• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools

• Monitor and assess student performance regularly

• Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, positive learning environment

• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development programs

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the teaching-learning process
