Special Educator

Job Description:

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Special Educator to join our team. Whether you're a recent graduate or have a few years of experience, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children who need specialized academic and developmental support.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess children's learning needs using observation and informal/formal assessment tools

Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each child's unique needs

Deliver one-on-one and small-group instructional sessions using age-appropriate strategies and materials

Support children with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and other developmental challenges

Collaborate closely with speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and families

Monitor and document progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies as needed

Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education (B.Ed. or M.Ed. in Special Education or equivalent certification)

RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) registration is preferred

Strong understanding of child development and inclusive education practices

Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills

Passionate about working with children with diverse needs

Willingness to learn and collaborate within a team-based environment.
