Roles & Responsibilities - CENTRE HEAD Strategic Role Coordinating the preschool and the daycare program of the centre Communicating and implementing the organization’s vision, mission, values and the working principles Representing the organization to the preschool stakeholders Having regular meetings with the management to review the effectiveness of the schools’ policies, procedures and processes Conducting review meetings with the school team to ensure the program implementation standards in terms of the academics, infrastructure and program delivery Assessing the resources of the preschool/daycare and working towards its optimum utilization Academics Coordinating with the teachers and facilitating the sessions, preparing the lesson plans and assessing the academic progress of children Planning the academic calendar and organizing events, field trips, guest talks etc. Participating in educational events and conferences; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Admissions Handling the parent enquiries, conducting the admissions counselling on behalf of the school. Monitoring the key growth parameters of the school. Communication and parent relations Managing parent relations and conducting PTMs Having regular meetings with the management to review the effectiveness of the schools’ policies, procedures and processes Conducting review meetings with the school team to ensure the program implementation standards Centre administration Ensuring the smooth running of the centre and the academic programs Preparing the daily, monthly, annual MIS reports and monitoring the key management parameters. Overseeing/maintaining the necessary books of records and updating them promptly. Financial Management: Overseeing/managing the financials of the centre. Responsible for the P&L of the school. Maintaining the proper books of accounts for audit and review purposes. People management: managing the school team, designing and monitoring their KRAs, organising/conducting periodic training programs. Managing the new staff recruitment, infrastructure, and Facilities management. Overseeing/ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of the school campus, overseeing the facilities and inventory management
