Position: School Center Head
Role Overview
The School Center Head is responsible for the overall academic excellence, operational efficiency, staff leadership, parent satisfaction, and business performance of the school center. This role ensures smooth day-to-day functioning while driving growth, quality education delivery, and strong community relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Leadership
• Ensure high-quality teaching and learning standards aligned with the school’s curriculum and vision
• Monitor lesson plans, classroom practices, assessments, and student progress
• Support and mentor teachers to improve instructional effectiveness
• Ensure implementation of activity-based and child-centric learning methodologies
• Maintain compliance with academic policies, guidelines, and statutory requirements
2. Operations & Administration
• Oversee daily school operations including schedules, facilities, safety, and hygiene
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and child protection norms
• Manage school infrastructure, resources, and vendor coordination
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
3. Staff Management & Development
• Recruit, onboard, train, and retain teaching and non-teaching staff
• Allocate duties, prepare rosters, and manage attendance and performance
• Conduct regular staff meetings, appraisals, and feedback sessions
• Build a positive, collaborative, and professional work culture
4. Parent & Community Engagement
• Act as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians
• Address parent queries, concerns, and grievances effectively
• Organize parent meetings, orientations, workshops, and events
• Build strong relationships with the local community and stakeholders
5. Admissions & Business Growth
• Drive admissions targets and student retention
• Plan and execute marketing, outreach, and promotional activities
• Conduct school tours, counseling sessions, and admission interviews
• Analyze enrollment trends and implement strategies for growth
6. Financial & Reporting Responsibilities
• Manage center budgets, expenses, and fee collections
• Ensure timely fee follow-ups and financial discipline
• Prepare and submit regular reports to management/franchise/HO
• Monitor profitability and cost optimization
7. Events & School Culture
• Plan and oversee school events, celebrations, sports days, and annual functions
• Promote values, discipline, and a nurturing school environment
• Ensure consistent school branding and quality standards
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Management, or related field
• Teaching qualification (B.Ed / Montessori / ECCE preferred)
• 5–10 years of experience in education, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role
• Experience in preschool/school administration preferred
• Excellent fluency in English
