Senior Preschool Teacher & Centre Growth Lead

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Monday to Friday
Saturdays: 1–2 Saturdays per month, primarily for PTMs, events or special school activities

We are seeking an experienced, energetic and highly passionate Senior Preschool Teacher & Centre Growth Lead who will not merely come to school, complete classroom hours and leave.

This is a unique position combining Preschool Teaching + Academic Excellence + Parent Engagement + School Growth.

The selected educator will be expected to take ownership of the preschool environment and contribute actively towards making Navjyoti a preferred preschool for families in Gurugram.

1. Create Magical Learning Experiences

• Plan and conduct highly engaging preschool sessions using Play-Way and activity-based methodologies.

• Make children look forward to coming to school every morning.

• Use stories, puppetry, role play, games, music, dance, art, movement and experiential activities.

• Develop age-appropriate activities for language, numeracy, communication, creativity and motor skills.

• Understand that every child develops differently and provide appropriate individual attention.

• Create an environment where children feel safe, loved, respected and excited to learn.

2. Own the Holistic Development of Every Child

The teacher should closely observe and contribute towards each child's:

• Communication & Language

• Confidence

• Social Skills

• Emotional Development

• Creativity

• Fine & Gross Motor Skills

3. Build Outstanding Parent Relationships

Parents are critical partners in early childhood education.

The selected candidate should:

• Build warm and professional relationships with parents.

• Conduct meaningful PTMs.

• Regularly communicate children's development and achievements.

• Address parent concerns maturely and positively.

• Help parents understand developmental milestones.

• Encourage parent participation in school activities.

• Create such a strong parent experience that existing parents become our best ambassadors.

4. Help Grow the School

We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate how they contributed to enrolment, parent satisfaction, retention or growth at their previous preschool.

Who Should Apply?

We would love to meet you if you:

• Have 5–10 years of strong preschool / early-years teaching experience.

• Have worked with a reputed preschool, Montessori, kindergarten or early childhood institution.

• Have excellent knowledge of Play-Way and activity-based learning.

• Understand early childhood development and developmental milestones.

• Can independently plan an engaging monthly and weekly activity calendar.

• Have excellent English communication and strong parent-facing skills.

• Are creative, energetic, organised and presentable.

• Can tell stories, conduct activities and make a classroom come alive.

• Have successfully handled PTMs and parent concerns.

• Have contributed towards the growth of a preschool or centre.

• Believe teaching young children is a responsibility and not merely a job.

• Are willing to take ownership rather than wait for daily instructions.

NTT / ECCE / Montessori / Early Childhood Education qualification will be strongly preferred.

Working Schedule

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

The role has deliberately structured school hours, making it suitable for an experienced educator who wants to pursue a meaningful professional career while maintaining work-life balance.

Saturday: Attendance will normally be required only 1–2 Saturdays in a month for Parent-Teacher Meetings, events, admissions or important school activities.
