Job Description – Preschool Teacher + Centre Head

Position Overview:

We are seeking a senior Preschool Teacher who will take on leadership responsibilities as Centre Head. This role combines teaching with parent counselling, academic planning, teacher training, and centre administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic & Student Development

• Design and oversee implementation of the curriculum and daily lesson plans.

• Conduct interactive sessions, ensuring children’s holistic growth.

• Track and evaluate students’ progress, ensuring personalized attention.

Parent Counselling & Engagement

• Counsel and support parents on child development and parenting strategies.

• Conduct parent orientations, workshops, and feedback sessions.

• Build strong parent-school relationships.

Teacher Training & Team Mentorship

• Train, mentor, and supervise junior teachers and support staff.

• Conduct regular training sessions to maintain teaching quality.

• Foster a collaborative, value-based team culture.

Centre Head / Administrative Duties

• Manage day-to-day preschool operations smoothly and effectively.

• Oversee admissions, record-keeping, and staff management.

• Plan and execute school events, cultural celebrations, and outreach activities.

• Ensure safety, discipline, and alignment with Divya Sanskar International Preschool’s philosophy.
