Essential / Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

 Early Years, Child Care, or other teaching qualification

 Experience working with young children either in a professional home base or early years provision

 A University Degree In any subject

 Paediatric first aid qualification

 A good record of on-going training

Essential / Desirable Knowledge:

 Understand child development in order to support all children including children with disabilities.

 Good knowledge of the Revised Early Years Foundation Stage and Welfare Requirements

 Knowledge and understanding of child protection procedures

 Understand the importance of and fulfil the role of a key person
