The Preschool & Pre-Primary Teacher plays a key role in shaping the foundation of young learners by nurturing their cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development. The teacher will create a safe, joyful, and engaging learning environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and school readiness through play-based and experiential learning aligned with NEP 2020 and CBSE Early Years Framework.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons for children aged 2.5 to 6 years.
Use play-based, experiential, and integrated learning methods to introduce early literacy, numeracy, environmental awareness, and life skills.
Incorporate music, movement, storytelling, art, craft, and games into daily activities to make learning joyful and engaging.
Support holistic child development through individualized attention and differentiated instruction.
Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
Establish clear routines that promote independence, discipline, and responsibility.
Maintain hygiene, safety, and comfort of children at all times.
Organize and maintain learning materials and activity areas effectively.
Conduct continuous observation-based assessments to track each child’s progress.
Maintain child portfolios, learning outcomes, and progress reports.
Share regular feedback with parents through PTMs and informal communication.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s overall growth and well-being.
Work collaboratively with co-teachers, assistants, and support staff to ensure smooth class functioning.
Participate actively in school events, celebrations, and community programs.
Uphold school values, ethics, and code of conduct.
Attend training sessions, workshops, and meetings for continuous professional growth.
Demonstrate punctuality, teamwork, and commitment to the school’s mission and vision.
Bachelor’s Degree with Diploma / Certification in Early Childhood Education, Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), or ECCEd.
1–5 years of relevant teaching experience in Preschool or Pre-Primary settings (CBSE preferred).
Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
Creative, patient, and compassionate with a genuine love for children.
Knowledge of activity-based, experiential, and child-centered pedagogy.
Comfortable using basic digital tools for communication and classroom activities.
