Pre-Primary Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pre-Primary Teacher to join our early years team. The ideal candidate must hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) and have a strong understanding of child psychology, age-appropriate teaching practices, and classroom management for children aged 2.5 to 6 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.

• Foster a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners.

• Use a variety of teaching methods including storytelling, games, hands-on activities, and creative arts.

• Observe and assess children’s development and maintain detailed records of their progress.

• Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their child's development and address any concerns.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.

• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to support school-wide programs and events.

• Attend training sessions, staff meetings, and professional development workshops as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma in ECCD (Early Childhood Care and Development) – Mandatory

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a pre-primary or early childhood teaching role preferred.

• Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about working with young children.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Basic knowledge of child safety and first aid is an added advantage.
