Pre-Primary Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated Pre-School Teacher to support the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young children. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities aligned with early childhood education standards

Foster a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

Support children’s social, emotional, language, and motor skill development

Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and developmental milestones

Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety at all times

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding children’s progress and needs

Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support school programs and events

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and school policies

Guide children in developing self-help skills, positive behavior, and respect for others

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Prior experience working with preschool-aged children preferred

Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children

Ability to manage a classroom effectively and compassionately

First Aid/CPR certification (preferred or required, depending on institution)

Requires standing, bending, and active engagement with children throughout the day
