Pre-Primary Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities.

• Conduct circle time, rhymes, stories, art & craft, sensory activities and movement activities.

• Use play-based, Montessori and activity-based teaching methods.

• Create a warm, safe and child-friendly classroom environment.

• Encourage children's curiosity, creativity, independence and confidence.

• Support children's social, emotional, language and motor development.

• Maintain classroom routines, learning materials and displays.

• Observe children's development and maintain appropriate records.

• Communicate professionally with parents regarding children's progress and classroom activities.

• Work closely with other teachers and the Academic Coordinator.

• Participate in school celebrations, events, field trips and special activities.

• Ensure children's safety, hygiene and well-being throughout the school day.

• Follow school policies, curriculum guidelines and classroom procedures.

• Prepare teaching aids, worksheets, flashcards and other learning resources when required.
