About the Role

Orchids The International School is seeking a talented and passionate Music Teacher to inspire students through music education and creative expression. The ideal candidate should be capable of teaching vocal and/or instrumental music, organizing performances, and fostering students’ interest in music across different age groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging music classes for students across assigned grades

• Teach vocal music, rhythm, basic music theory, and/or instrumental skills

• Plan and execute music-related activities, competitions, and school events

• Prepare students for annual day performances, assemblies, and cultural programs

• Encourage creativity, confidence, and stage presence among students

• Maintain discipline and ensure an interactive classroom environment

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Collaborate with academic staff for interdisciplinary activities and events

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music or related field

• Certification/Training in Vocal or Instrumental Music preferred

• Prior teaching experience in schools is an added advantage

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Passion for music education and student engagement
