Job Description

To facilitate the smooth running of pre-production process, in order to finish and deliver error free CRC files for printing, a post-Graduate candidate with an experience of minimum 7 years, (preferably with knowledge in school textbook publication), in validation, proof reading and content editing for primary classes K-8.

Here is a list of responsibilities and skills that is expected are listed below:

1.1.1 Be responsible for validating PDF’s, proofing and editing of books in different subjects. In order to deliver error free books, flag up every possible editorial and proof-reading issue pertaining to grammar and spelling; thereafter, to give clear, accurate instructions or feedback to team members.

1.1.2 Be responsible for reviewing and give inputs on the content developed by a third party to maintain a harmony across the series and look of the publication. A sharp eye to identify quality issues would be most helpful.

1.1.3 Require to plugging in gaps in terms of language and style consistency throughout the book, whenever required.

1.1.4 To check and validate the facts in the books which have information based on history, general knowledge or statistics.
