Job Title: Fashion Designing & Technology Trainer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Fashion Designing & Technology Trainer to educate and mentor students in fashion design principles, garment construction, textile science, and modern fashion technologies. The role involves delivering both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver training sessions on fashion design concepts including sketching, draping, pattern making, and garment construction

• Teach textile science, fabric selection, dyeing, printing, and finishing techniques

• Train students in fashion illustration (manual and digital tools such as Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, CLO 3D, or similar software)

• Guide students in CAD-based fashion designing and modern fashion technologies

• Develop lesson plans, assignments, and project-based learning modules

• Supervise practical workshops, stitching labs, and design studios

• Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and portfolio reviews

• Assist students in creating professional fashion portfolios

• Stay updated with latest fashion trends, sustainable fashion, and industry innovations

• Organize fashion shows, exhibitions, and student showcases (where applicable)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI & CTI Holder, Degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing, Textile Design, or related field

• Strong knowledge of garment construction and pattern making

• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D, etc.) preferred

• Good understanding of fashion trends and industry practices

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Teaching or training experience preferred (academic or institute level)

• Creative mindset with attention to detail

Preferred Experience

• 1–5 years experience in fashion designing or teaching/training

• Industry experience in apparel or fashion houses is an advantage
