Job Summary
We are seeking a high-energy, certified Fitness Trainer who excels at both exercise science and "floor-based" sales. Your mission is to provide an exceptional workout experience for all members while proactively identifying and converting prospects into Personal Training clients. You will use our premium equipment (Precor Resolute Series) and BCA tools to demonstrate value and drive PT revenue.
Key Responsibilities
1. PT Sales & Lead Generation
The "Floor Hustle": Actively engage with members during their general workouts. Offer tips, corrections, and spot-checks to build trust and open the door for a PT pitch.
Trial Sessions: Conduct high-impact "Introductory PT Sessions" for new members, focusing on showing them immediate value and results.
Closing: Confidently present PT packages and pricing to members, overcoming objections based on their fitness goals.
Renewal Management: Deliver such high value that clients renew their packages before they expire.
2. Fitness Instruction & Safety
Program Design: Create customized, Periodized training programs tailored to individual member goals (weight loss, muscle gain, rehab, etc.).
Equipment Mastery: Educate members on the correct use of Precor Resolute series machines and functional training tools to prevent injury and maximize results.
BCA Consultations: Perform regular Body Composition Analysis (BCA) for members to track progress and use the data to justify continued training.
3. Club Culture & Retention
Cleanliness & Maintenance: Ensure the weights are racked and the floor is tidy. Report any equipment wear and tear immediately.
Member Engagement: Participate in club challenges, outdoor bootcamps, and social media content creation (exercise demos, client transformations).
Required Skills & Competencies
The "Sales Mindset": You don't wait for clients to come to you; you go to them. You are comfortable discussing the financial investment of PT.
Interpersonal Brilliance: You must be approachable, motivating, and able to talk to people from all walks of life.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition basics, and biomechanics.
Stamina: Ability to stay high-energy throughout a 6–8 hour shift on the gym floor.
Qualifications
Certification: Mandatory certification from a recognized body (e.g., K11, ACE, NASM, ACSM, or Gold’s Gym).
Experience: 1+ years of experience in a commercial gym setting with a proven track record of selling PT.
Physical Fitness: You must maintain a professional, fit appearance that inspires members
