English Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English language and literature to high school students(UG level syllabus).

• Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum and academic standards.

• Use a variety of teaching methods and technologies to cater to different learning styles.

• Conduct regular assessments, provide constructive feedback, and support students' academic progress.

• Encourage student participation in debates, elocution, and other language-related extracurricular activities.

• Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and policies of Sevalaya.

• Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in school events, parent meetings, and training programs.

• Prepare students for board and competitive examinations

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in English (B.A. English)

• Teaching Qualification: B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) – Mandatory

• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience

• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Passion for working with rural and underprivileged students
