Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development & Instruction:

Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with educational standards and varied learning styles.

Teach grammar, writing, literature, reading comprehension, and effective communication skills.

Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of all learners.

Student Assessment & Feedback:

Monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and exams.

Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

Maintain accurate records of student grades and progress.

Classroom Management:

Create a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.

Foster motivation, resilience, and a positive atmosphere for learning.

Encourage critical thinking and active participation through discussions and activities.

Collaboration & Communication:

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns.

Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administrators to ensure student success.

Participate in staff and department meetings.

Professional Development:

Continuously update personal knowledge and teaching techniques through professional development.

Stay abreast of current trends in education and English language arts.

Skills & Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, English Literature, or a related field.

Licensure: Possession of a valid teaching license or certification.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Abilities: Ability to create engaging lesson plans, manage a classroom effectively, motivate students, and foster a love for literature and language.
