Job Description: Female Dance Teacher

Location: Nainital, Uttarakhand
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Depending on Experience)

Role Summary

A reputed Residential / Boarding School in Nainital, Uttarakhand is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Female Dance Teacher to train students in various dance forms and contribute to the school's cultural, artistic, and co-curricular development.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about dance education, capable of training students for performances and competitions, and experienced in organizing cultural events and stage presentations. Candidates with prior experience in residential schools will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and train students in various dance forms, including classical, folk, contemporary, and creative dance styles.

• Develop age-appropriate lesson plans and choreography for students across different grades.

• Prepare students for annual functions, cultural programs, inter-school competitions, and special events.

• Organize and coordinate dance performances, talent shows, and cultural activities.

• Identify and nurture students with exceptional talent in performing arts.

• Collaborate with music teachers and other faculty members for stage productions and school events.

• Maintain discipline and encourage student participation in co-curricular activities.

• Support the holistic development of students through creative and performing arts.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree / Diploma in Dance or Performing Arts.

• Formal training in Classical, Folk, Contemporary, or related dance forms preferred.

• Strong choreography and stage management skills.

• Excellent communication and student engagement abilities.

• Ability to train students for competitions and public performances.

• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with audio-visual teaching aids preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in a reputed school.

• Experience in organizing school cultural events and annual functions.

• Prior experience in a Residential / Boarding School will be an added advantage.
