Role Overview

Scholars International School is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Computer Teacher to teach classes up to 8th. The ideal candidate should have strong conceptual understanding of basic and middle-school computer science and must be able to explain concepts in a simple, engaging, and practical way for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science to Classes to 8th.

• Prepare structured, interactive, and well-planned lessons aligned with the school curriculum.

• Explain computer concepts clearly using real-life examples and simple teaching methods.

• Conduct practical sessions on basic computer operations, MS Office, internet usage, typing skills, and digital awareness.

• Prepare worksheets, assignments, periodic tests, and maintain evaluation records.

• Track student progress and provide remedial support when required.

• Maintain discipline, encourage participation, and create a positive learning environment.

• Participate in staff meetings, training programs, workshops, and parent–teacher meetings.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant field.

• B.Ed. is mandatory or strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of middle-school computer topics .

• Good communication skills in Hindi and English.

• Good classroom management and ability to handle young learners effectively.

• Passion for teaching and helping students understand technology confidently.

Preferred Skills

• Prior teaching experience, especially with middle-school students.

• Ability to use smart-class tools, digital learning platforms, and basic educational software.

• Skill in simplifying complex topics based on different learning abilities.

• Patience, empathy, creativity, and a positive professional attitude.
