We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Makerspace Assistant Trainer who enjoys working with students and building innovative projects. You will support Makerspace sessions, assist in guiding students, and help manage tools, materials, and creative activities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in conducting Makerspace sessions for students
Support students in building projects across electronics, robotics, and DIY making
Set up and maintain tools, kits, and workspace
Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues
Encourage creativity, innovation, and problem-solving
Assist in organizing workshops, competitions, and exhibitions
Ensure safe usage of tools and equipment
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of electronics & circuits (LEDs, resistors, sensors)
Familiarity with Arduino / ESP32 / Microcontrollers
Understanding of basic robotics (motors, drivers, mechanisms)
Exposure to tools (soldering, drilling, 3D printing, laser cutting – preferred)
Basic coding knowledge (Arduino IDE / Scratch / Python is a plus)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Good communication and patience while working with students
Creative thinking and curiosity
Ability to simplify concepts and explain clearly
Team player with a proactive attitude
Preferred Background
Diploma / Degree in Engineering, STEM, or related field
Prior experience in teaching, workshops, or Makerspace (preferred but not mandatory)
