We are looking for a Assistant Professor to join our team at Shayona Institute of Management & Computer Application with expertise in one or more academic subjects. In this position, you will create lesson plans and guide students based on their learning needs. The role offers an in-hand salary of ₹20000 - ₹35000.
Key Responsibilities:1. Teaching & Academic Delivery
Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical/lab sessions for BBA and BCA courses.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, PPTs, case studies, and assignments.
Develop question papers, conduct internal assessments, and evaluate answer sheets.
Maintain attendance records and academic documentation.
Implement Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and use ICT-enabled teaching methods.
2. Curriculum & Program Development
Participate in syllabus revision and curriculum enrichment.
Design practical exercises, case studies, and project guidelines.
Ensure alignment with university (GTU/UGC/AICTE) academic standards.
3. Student Mentoring & Guidance
Act as mentor for assigned students.
Guide students in projects, internships, industrial training, and placements.
Support students in research, seminars, presentations, and competitions.
Address academic and behavioral concerns in coordination with management.
4. Research & Professional Development
Publish research papers in reputed journals.
Participate in FDPs, workshops, conferences, and seminars.
Contribute to consultancy, innovation, and entrepreneurship initiatives.
5. Administrative & Institutional Responsibilities
Participate in examination work, admissions, NAAC/NBA documentation, and audits.
Serve on academic and administrative committees.
Organize guest lectures, industrial visits, workshops, and management/IT events.
Support placement and industry interaction activities.
Qualifications:For BBA:
MBA / PGDM in relevant specialization with minimum 55% marks (as per UGC norms).
NET/SET/Ph.D. preferred (if applicable as per regulations).
For BCA:
MCA / M.Sc. (IT/CS) / M.Tech (CS/IT) with minimum 55% marks (as per AICTE/UGC norms).
Relevant teaching experience preferred.
Required Skills:
Strong subject knowledge in Management and/or Computer Applications.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, programming languages (for BCA), and digital teaching tools.
Ability to guide academic projects and research work.
Teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills.
