Job Description – Hotel Management Faculty
Mahajana Institutions, Mysuru is seeking experienced Hotel Management Faculty to deliver high-quality teaching and practical training for undergraduate and diploma programs.
The faculty member will be responsible for classroom instruction, practical lab sessions, student mentoring, and supporting departmental academic and industry-oriented activities. The role requires strong subject knowledge, effective communication skills, and a passion for student development.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach Hotel Management subjects including Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Front Office, and Housekeeping
• Conduct practical classes and supervise kitchen, service, and housekeeping labs
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments as per university syllabus
• Guide students for internships, industrial training, and career development
• Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records
• Participate in departmental activities, workshops, seminars, and study tours
• Coordinate with industry partners for guest lectures and training programs
