To ensure consistent product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance at Chenab Impex’s production unit by implementing quality systems, conducting testing and audits, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Food Safety & Compliance
• Implement and monitor HACCP plans, CCPs, and OPRPs
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, GHP, and applicable food safety standards
• Support FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000 requirements (if applicable)
• Monitor hygiene and food safety practices on the shop floor
Documentation & QMS
• Maintain and update QMS documentation, SOPs, BMRs, and COAs
• Review, revise, and prepare SOPs as per process changes
• Ensure proper record-keeping for audits and compliance
Audits & Continuous Improvement
• Conduct internal audits (Hygiene, GMP) and assist in supplier audits
• Support external audits and customer inspections
• Handle non-conformities, customer complaints, root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA
• Ensure traceability and conduct mock recall exercises
Coordination & Training
• Coordinate with production team to resolve quality issues
• Assign daily quality-related tasks and monitor progress
• Conduct food safety, hygiene, and GMP trainings for plant staff
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of food manufacturing quality systems
• Hands-on experience in chemical testing and documentation
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, FSSAI, FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000
• Audit handling and compliance management
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting
Educational Qualification
• MSc / BSc in Chemistry OR
• Diploma / Bachelor’s in Food Technology / Food Science / Related Discipline
