Ward Boy

We are looking for a Ward Boy to join our team at Prayas to assist hospital staff in patient care, cleanliness and movement within the facility. The day to day tasks involve monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments and assisting doctors and nurses in medical procedures. The role offers an in-hand salary of ₹15000 - ₹25000 and a respectful work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients in moving, bathing and daily routines

• Maintain cleanliness in wards and patient rooms

• Support nurses and doctors in basic care activities

• Transfer patients between wards, operation theatres and diagnostic rooms

• Handle bedding and medical waste as instructed

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is 12th Pass and 0 - 6 years of experience. Applicants should be physically fit, hygienic, attentive and willing to work in a hospital environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Identify patients’ care requirements and assess their health conditions.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Maintain patient’s records and reports.

• Educate patients and families on healthcare plans.

• Ensure hygiene, safety, and infection control standards.

• Prepare patients for examination and perform routine diagnosis checks like monitoring pulse, blood pressure, etc.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is 12th Pass and 0 - 6 years of experience. Problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask, compassionate and good communication skills are a must. Additional certification in relevant fields is a plus.
