Education:
Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent, OR
X / XII standard with minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Key Knowledge & Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of different cuisines, service styles, service standards, and restaurant concepts
Working knowledge of MS Office and POS systems such as Micros, Fidelio, or equivalent
Good communication, customer handling, and coordination skills
Job Description & Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage orders from kitchen pick-up to table service
Liaise with the kitchen team and allocate duties to service staff
Ensure timely serving of guest orders and maintain service quality standards
Take beverage orders and explain buffet and à la carte meal options to guests
Ensure accurate and efficient billing of tables and completion of GST-related documentation
Attend phone calls, handle guest enquiries, and update daily non-availability boards
Maintain departmental upkeep, buffet setup, and restaurant cleanliness
Generate cover statement reports, update remarks books, and maintain attendance registers
Control operational costs by minimizing pilferage and breakage
Personally interact with guests to ensure complete satisfaction
Assist in stock-taking activities and maintain stationery, provisions, catering supplies, linen, and buffet equipment
