Position: Senior Steward
Industry: Hospitality (Hotels, Restaurants, Cruise Lines, Catering Services)
Reports to: Executive Chef / Food & Beverage Manager
Primary Goal: Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen and dining environment while leading stewarding staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision & Leadership
  - Oversee stewarding staff and assign daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  - Train, mentor, and onboard new stewards.
  - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  - Operational Duties
    - Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, storage, and dining areas.
    - Inspect dishwashing, cleaning, and waste disposal processes.
    - Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
    - Coordinate schedules to ensure coverage during peak hours.
    - Guest & Service Support
      - Assist in maintaining smooth food service operations.
      - Support chefs and service staff by ensuring equipment and utensils are clean and available.
      - Uphold high standards of hygiene to enhance guest satisfaction
