🎯 Job Summary

The IPD Steward is responsible for supporting inpatient ward operations by ensuring patient comfort, maintaining hygiene standards, assisting nursing staff, and coordinating non-clinical services. The role focuses on delivering quality hospitality services within hospital IPD areas.

Hospital steward/housekeeping roles typically include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with patient services, and supporting ward operations to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with meal service and ensure correct diet delivery

• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, corridors, and ward areas

• Prepare beds for new admissions and ensure linen availability

• Support nurses in non-clinical activities

• Provide drinking water and basic patient comfort support

• Transport files, samples, or equipment within hospital premises

• Coordinate with housekeeping and nursing team for patient needs

• Ensure waste disposal as per hospital infection control policy

• Maintain stock of ward supplies (linen, disposables, etc.)

• Assist in shifting patients when required

Hospital housekeeping staff commonly handle cleaning, bed preparation, sanitation, waste management, and maintaining equipment placement to support patient care.

🎓 Qualification

• Minimum: 10th / 12th Pass

• Preferred: Hotel Management / Hospital Attendant Course

💼 Experience

• 0–2 Years experience in Hospital / Hospitality / Housekeeping

• Fresher can apply
