Role Overview:
At Flax Café, we believe in serving fresh, healthy food with warmth and care. As a Steward / Waiter, you will be the face of our café—ensuring a welcoming guest experience while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
Serve food and beverages as per Flax Café service standards.
Ensure tables, dining areas, and service counters are clean and presentable at all times.
Clear tables promptly and reset them efficiently.
Wash, sanitize, and organize crockery and cutlery.
Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness practices.
Assist team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.
Handle guest requests politely and escalate concerns to the supervisor when needed.
Support opening and closing duties of the café.
What We’re Looking For:
Passion for hospitality and customer service.
Basic understanding of café or restaurant operations.
Good communication skills and a team-player mindset.
Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Prior experience in a café or restaurant is an advantage, but freshers are welcome.
