Steward Responsibilities – Fine-Dine Restaurant
Guest Service: Welcome guests, escort them to tables, present menus, and provide professional table service.
Order Taking: Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen/bar.
Table Setup: Maintain proper table settings, cutlery, glassware, napkins, and overall presentation.
Food & Beverage Service: Serve dishes and beverages according to fine-dining service standards.
Guest Assistance: Explain menu items, ingredients, specials, and assist guests with recommendations.
Table Maintenance: Clear used plates, replace cutlery, refill water, and keep tables clean throughout the meal.
Billing: Present bills accurately and coordinate with the cashier for smooth payment.
Guest Satisfaction: Handle guest requests politely and report complaints or special requirements to the Captain/Manager.
Hygiene & Grooming: Maintain excellent personal hygiene, grooming, uniform standards, and professional etiquette.
Team Coordination: Coordinate with Captains, Kitchen, Bar, and other service staff to ensure smooth operations.
