Job Title: Steward / F&B Service Associate

Department: Food & Beverage Service

Reports To: Restaurant Manager / F&B Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Steward is responsible for delivering efficient and courteous food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a high standard of hospitality and guest satisfaction in restaurants, banquets, and in-room dining.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating

• Present menus, take orders accurately, and communicate with kitchen staff

• Serve food and beverages as per service standards

• Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and hygiene at all times

• Clear tables promptly and reset for next guests

• Handle guest queries and requests in a professional manner

• Coordinate with kitchen and bar for smooth service flow

• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials

• Follow SOPs for billing, order punching, and payments (if applicable)

• Adhere to hygiene, grooming, and safety standards

Key Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: 12th pass / Hotel Management diploma preferred

• 1–3 years of experience in F&B service (hotel/restaurant preferred)

• Basic knowledge of food & beverage service standards

• Good communication skills (Hindi/English)

• Customer-focused with a pleasant personality

• Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
