Job Description – Steward / Waiter

Location: Madras House
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience)

Role Summary

We are looking for a friendly, energetic and responsible Steward/Waiter to join the Madras House team. As a boutique 20-seater restaurant, every team member plays an important role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide attentive table service.
Take orders and serve food and beverages efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and service stations.
Set up and clear tables before and after service.
Coordinate with the kitchen for timely service.
Assist with takeaway orders, opening and closing duties.
Support the team with any operational tasks required to ensure smooth restaurant functioning.

Requirements

Good communication and customer service skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, proactive and enjoys creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
