Job Summary

The Restaurant Waiter/Steward is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and creating a welcoming dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests politely and professionally.

• Present menus and explain dishes, beverages, and special offers.

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen.

• Serve food and drinks promptly as per restaurant standards.

• Ensure tables are properly set before guest arrival.

• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, cutlery, and service stations.

• Assist guests with their requests and resolve basic complaints professionally.

• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service operations.

• Clear tables and prepare them for the next guests.

• Follow hygiene, safety, and grooming standards at all times.

• Handle billing and payment processes when required.

• Support team members during busy hours and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Diploma/Certification in Hotel Management is an advantage

• Prior experience in restaurant service preferred

Experience

• Fresher or 6Months –4 years of experience in restaurants, cafés, or hotels

Working Conditions

• Rotational shifts including weekends and holidays

• Standing for long hours may be required
