Job Summary:
Mumbai Chai Café is looking for a hands-on and proactive Area Manager – Franchisee Support to drive successful outlet launches and ongoing support for our franchise partners. This role begins the moment a franchise is signed and extends through fit-out, training, operations support, and inventory coordination. The ideal candidate has a background in F&B operations, is comfortable with field work, and can confidently represent the brand across locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Franchisee Onboarding & Outlet Setup:
· Guide franchisees during the café fit-out phase, ensuring brand standards are met.
· Coordinate and follow up with suppliers and vendors during pre-launch setup.
· Support franchisees in recruiting the right local staff for their outlet.
· Visit outlet sites for supervision and setup alignment.
Training & Operational Support:
· Train franchise owners and outlet staff based on structured brand training modules.
· Supervise COCO (company-owned company-operated) outlets to ensure operational excellence.
· Conduct on-site support visits post-launch to ensure smooth operations and adherence to SOPs.
Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:
· Monitor inventory levels at franchisee outlets and guide them on timely reordering.
· Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of raw materials.
Cross-Functional Support:
· Assist the franchise acquisition team by arranging tasting sessions for interested prospects.
· Support other organizational initiatives as and when required by the leadership.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
· Minimum qualification: 12th pass (Graduation preferred)
· 3–5 years experience in F&B operations, preferably in multi-unit/franchise management
· Must be fluent in English and Hindi; knowledge of additional regional languages is a plus
· Strong field management and coordination skills
· Ability to travel extensively across franchise locations
· Energetic, solutions-oriented, and capable of working independently
· Strong documentation, reporting, and follow-up skills
