OMR Desi Dhaba is an authentic North & South Indian restaurant specializing in Biryani, Tandoori, Indian & Chinese cuisine. We are expanding operations (24/7 model) and seeking a strong operational leader. We are expanding into multiple cloud kitchen formats across Chennai.
We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to join our team at Omr Desi Dhaba and prepare delicious meals for the guests. Key responsibility includes preparing and delivering high-quality dishes, setting up the menu, and delegating tasks to kitchen staff (If needed). The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹30,000 - ₹40,000 with additional Performance Incentives and growth path to Operations Head
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
Manage complete restaurant operations (Kitchen + Service + Billing)
Handle staff recruitment, interviewing & hiring as per manpower plan
Control staff attrition by maintaining discipline, motivation & team culture
Prepare duty rosters & manage shift planning
Monitor food cost, wastage & inventory control
Increase sales through upselling, combos & online platform optimization
Supervise Swiggy/Zomato order execution & ratings
Maintain hygiene, safety & FSSAI standards
Handle customer complaints professionally
Prepare daily sales, expense & profitability reports
Coordinate with owners for monthly targets & growth plans

Strong leadership & team-building ability
Experience in staff hiring & retention management
Knowledge of food costing & P&L understanding
Experience with POS & online food delivery platforms
Ability to handle pressure & long operational hoursFamiliarity with cooking techniques (advance & non-traditional), recipes, and sanitation regulations are ideal for the position. The role requires excellent time management and leadership skills. A culinary school diploma or certification in a similar field is a plus.
