Job Summary
The Captain is responsible for supervising restaurant floor operations, leading the service team, and ensuring high standards of food and beverage service. The role focuses on delivering excellent guest experiences, maintaining service quality, and coordinating with kitchen and bar teams for smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests and assist them in seating.
Take accurate/correct food and beverage orders.
Serve dishes in a timely and courteous manner.
Maintain cleanliness of tables and service areas.
Respond to guest queries or requests.
Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth service.
Set up and clear tables for guests.
Oversee day-to-day restaurant service operations
Supervise and guide stewards and service associates
Ensure adherence to service standards, hygiene, and grooming
Welcome guests and ensure a pleasant dining experience
Take orders accurately and ensure timely service
Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally
Coordinate with kitchen and bar for smooth service flow
Assist in upselling food and beverage items
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of service areas
Support training of new service staff
