Job Title: Restaurant Captain
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and service-oriented Restaurant Captain to oversee front-of-house operations, ensure exceptional guest experience, and supervise service staff. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between management and service teams while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations
Lead and guide stewards/waiters to deliver excellent customer service
Welcome and interact with guests, ensuring a positive dining experience
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally
Monitor table setups, service flow, and cleanliness of the dining area
Ensure adherence to service standards and SOPs
Take and manage reservations, including VIP guests
Assist in training and mentoring junior staff
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service
Upsell menu items and promote special offers
Prepare shift reports and update management on daily operations
