Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Captain to manage guest service operations, supervise stewards, and ensure smooth restaurant functioning. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and knowledge of hospitality standards to deliver an excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist guests in a professional manner.
Ensure excellent guest service and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and coordinate with kitchen/bar teams.
Supervise and guide stewards/service staff during operations.
Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and restaurant hygiene standards.
Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
Upsell menu items, promotions, and signature dishes to increase sales.
Coordinate reservations and seating arrangements smoothly.
Maintain SOPs and service standards of the restaurant.
Train junior staff on service etiquette and restaurant procedures.
Ensure billing accuracy and smooth payment process.
Maintain grooming and discipline standards within the team.
