Job Title: Restaurant Captain

About the Role

Benfish Revelry is looking for an energetic and guest-focused Restaurant Captain to lead our floor operations. As the Captain, you will serve as the primary link between the kitchen and the dining room, ensuring seamless table service, maintaining high service standards, and managing table steward teams to deliver a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Floor Management: Oversee daily floor operations, assign dining stations to waitstaff, and ensure prompt, courteous, and efficient service.

• Guest Relations: Welcome guests upon arrival, assist with seating, present menus, and take orders accurately.

• Order Upselling & Menu Knowledge: Thoroughly understand the menu (including Bengali & Chinese specialties and fast-food items) to guide guest selections and upsell signature items.

• Issue Resolution: Handle customer feedback, complaints, or special requests politely and resolve floor issues swiftly.

• Service Standards: Ensure tables are properly set, cleared, and reset efficiently. Oversee staff adherence to personal hygiene and restaurant sanitation standards.

• Billing & Coordination: Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely order delivery and work with the billing counter to process guest bills accurately.

Requirements & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Captain or Senior Steward in a casual or fine-dining restaurant.

• Education: Higher Secondary (10+2) passed; a diploma or degree in Hotel Management is preferred.

• Languages: Fluency in Bengali and Hindi; basic conversational English is a plus.

• Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and multitasking capabilities under fast-paced dining hours.

• Appearance: Professional demeanor and well-groomed presentation.

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: ₹10,000 to ₹20,000 (commensurate with experience)

• Duty Hours: 10 hours daily shift

• Time Off: 1 weekly off day

• Additional Benefits: Duty meals provided during shifts

• It is a Full Time వెయిటర్ / స్టీవార్డ్ job for candidates with 1 - 6+ years Experience.
