Key Responsibilities :

1. Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant floor operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.

2. Welcome guests, assist with seating arrangements and ensure a pleasant dining experience.

3. Take guest orders accurately and recommend menu items, South Indian specialities and beverages.

4. Ensure timely coordination between the Service and Kitchen teams for efficient order delivery.

5. Brief and allocate duties to Stewards and other service staff before every shift.

6. Monitor table arrangements, service standards, food presentation and overall guest experience.

7. Handle guest feedback, queries and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.

8. Ensure adherence to company SOPs, hygiene standards, grooming standards and service protocols.

9. Monitor table turnover, suggestive selling and upselling to maximise outlet revenue.

10. Ensure proper opening and closing procedures of the restaurant floor.

11. Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the dining area, service stations and guest facilities.

12. Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming and overall discipline.

13. Assist the Restaurant Manager in maintaining operational standards and achieving sales targets.

14. Ensure that all guests receive prompt, courteous and personalised service.
    

Desired Skills & Competencies :

• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage service operations.

• Good understanding of South Indian cuisine and menu knowledge.

• Excellent communication and guest-handling skills.

• Team leadership and staff coordination abilities.

• Knowledge of suggestive selling and upselling techniques.

• Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve service-related issues.

• Good grooming, personal hygiene and professional presentation.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
