Role Summary
Aubree Haute Chocolatier is looking for a dynamic and service-oriented Captain to lead front-of-house operations and deliver an elevated café and dessert experience. This role involves supervising service staff, ensuring impeccable presentation of products, and creating a warm, attentive, and premium guest interaction aligned with patisserie and café service standards. Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily front-of-house operations in the café and patisserie section
Supervise stewards and service associates to ensure smooth and attentive service
Guide guests through menu offerings including desserts, chocolates, beverages, and seasonal specials
Ensure accurate product presentation, plating, and display standards in line with brand aesthetics
Handle guest queries, custom cake requests, and feedback with professionalism
Coordinate closely with kitchen/pastry team for order flow, availability, and special requests
Maintain visual merchandising standards for display counters and dining areas
Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are consistently followed
Support billing processes and ensure accuracy in POS handling
Assist in training team members on product knowledge, upselling, and guest engagement
Required Professional Skills
Strong interpersonal and guest engagement skills with a service-first mindset
Knowledge or interest in desserts, chocolates, and café-style service
Ability to upsell premium products and enhance guest experience
Leadership and team coordination abilities
Attention to detail in presentation and service quality
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, boutique café environment
Basic understanding of POS systems and billing procedures
Qualifications
Minimum 10th pass; Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred
1–3 years of experience in café, patisserie, bakery, or restaurant service
Prior experience as a Captain, Senior Steward, or similar supervisory role preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: ₹14,000 – ₹22,000 per month (based on experience)
