The Kitchen Helper will support daily kitchen operations in the cloud kitchen, assisting chefs and cooks in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring hygiene standards, and helping with inventory management. This role is essential for smooth kitchen functioning and timely order dispatch.
Assist in basic food preparation such as cutting, chopping, washing, and marinating ingredients.
Follow standardized recipes and guidelines given by the Chef/Team Leader.
Portion ingredients and prepare mise-en-place for daily operations.
Support cooking staff during rush hours with preparation activities.
Pack and label food items as per order requirements.
Ensure timely handover of orders to dispatch/rider team.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, workstations, and storage areas.
Wash utensils, equipment, and maintain sanitation as per FSSAI/Company standards.
Dispose of waste properly and ensure the kitchen is always clutter-free.
Assist in receiving and storing raw materials and supplies.
Check inventory levels and report shortages to the Team Leader.
Rotate stock and ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) method is followed.
Follow all safety, hygiene, and food handling guidelines.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs and operational processes.
Preferably 0–1 year of experience in a kitchen or food preparation role.
Basic understanding of kitchen tools and hygiene practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Physically fit to stand for long hours and handle kitchen activities.
Fast-paced cloud kitchen setup.
Shift-based work, including weekends and public holidays.
