Cafe Staff – Waffle World

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-friendly Cafe Staff to join our team at Waffle World.

As a Cafe Staff member, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of waffles and beverages, taking and serving orders, handling guests, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. Since Waffle World is a QSR cafe, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks is important.

The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹14,000 – ₹18,000 per month, along with performance-linked incentives. Candidates who can communicate in English will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders.

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and process them efficiently.

• Assist in preparing waffles, beverages, shakes, boba teas, ice creams and other menu items as per standard recipes.

• Ensure orders are prepared and served accurately and on time.

• Handle dine-in, takeaway and online orders efficiently.

• Assist guests with menu queries and provide recommendations when required.

• Ensure customers have a pleasant experience and take appropriate steps to delight the customer.

• Coordinate with kitchen and other team members for smooth and timely service.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the counter, kitchen, tables and service areas.

• Ensure proper presentation and packaging of food and beverages.

• Handle customer feedback, requests and basic complaints professionally.

• Support daily opening, closing and other cafe operations as required.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: Below 10th standard.

• 6 months – 3 years of experience in a cafe, QSR, restaurant, food outlet or similar customer-service environment preferred.

• Freshers with the right attitude and willingness to learn may also be considered.

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Basic knowledge or interest in food and beverages.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced QSR environment.

• Positive, energetic and customer-friendly attitude.

• Willingness to learn waffle and beverage preparation.

• Basic English-speaking ability will be an added advantage.

• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Compensation & Benefits:
