Position: Cafe Manager

Location: (Banaswadi)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience managing café operations while ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the café.

• Lead, train, and motivate the café team.

• Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.

• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.

• Handle staff scheduling, attendance, and performance management.

• Manage inventory, stock ordering, and vendor coordination.

• Control food costs, wastage, and operational expenses.

• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and company SOPs.

• Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently.

• Prepare daily sales reports and achieve revenue targets.

• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for smooth operations.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of café operations and hospitality standards.

• Experience with POS systems (e.g., Petpooja or similar).

• Inventory and cost control management.

• Customer relationship management.

• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and daily reporting.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management (preferred).

• Experience: Minimum 1–5 years as a Cafe Manager or Assistant Cafe Manager in a café, coffee chain, or restaurant.

• Strong understanding of coffee service and café operations.

• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with premium cafés or coffee chains.

• Knowledge of espresso machines, coffee brewing techniques, and basic latte art.

• Experience in achieving sales targets and managing team KPIs.
