Job Summary
The Video Editor is responsible for assembling recorded footage, adding visual and sound effects, and creating high-quality, engaging videos for marketing, social media, promotional campaigns, and internal use. The role requires creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail to bring concepts and scripts to life.
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw videos into polished, engaging final outputs.
Add transitions, animations, text overlays, music, sound effects, and color correction.
Work closely with marketing/creative teams to understand project requirements.
Trim footage, sync audio, adjust pacing, and improve overall video flow.
Create short-form content for reels, YouTube shorts, ads, and social media.
Manage multiple projects and deliver within timelines.
Maintain organized file structures (footage, project files, exports).
Optimize videos for different platforms and formats.
Stay updated with current editing trends and styles.
Ensure brand consistency in all videos.
Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects.
Strong sense of timing, visual storytelling, and creativity.
Knowledge of motion graphics is a plus.
Understanding of color grading, audio mixing, and video formats.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Attention to detail and ability to take feedback positively.
