Key Responsibilities
Post-Production: Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
Storytelling: Review shooting scripts and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.
Enhancement: Input effects, graphics, transitions, and titles to elevate video quality.
Audio Integration: Select appropriate music, perform sound leveling, and sync voiceovers/foley to enhance the viewing experience.
Collaboration: Consult with stakeholders (directors, producers, or marketing leads) from the pre-production to post-production process.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Proficiency: Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio.
Software Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of industry-standard software:
Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).
Optional: DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
Motion Graphics: Basic to intermediate skills in creating 2D animations and motion titles.
Detail-Oriented: Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
Adaptability: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
