Job Description :

Odisha Talks is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content for digital platforms and social media. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, visual creativity, and the ability to deliver compelling content that connects with our audience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Edit videos for news updates, interviews, ground reports, special stories, reels, and social media content.

• Create engaging short-form and long-form videos for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

• Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, titles, background music, and sound effects as required.

• Ensure accurate synchronization of audio and video, along with high-quality color correction and sound balancing.

• Collaborate with reporters, content creators, and the digital team to develop impactful visual stories.

• Ensure videos are factually accurate, visually appealing, and aligned with the brand identity of Odisha Talks.

• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced media environment.

Requirements :

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Resolve, or similar tools.

• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and motion graphics will be an added advantage.

• Understanding of social media video formats, trends, and audience engagement.

• Strong storytelling, editing, and visual communication skills.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments.

• Knowledge of Odia and English is preferred; Hindi proficiency will be an advantage.

• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous editing work is preferred.
